Stage 2: Drop PST files into Thunderbird
Before implementing this stage, make sure your Gmail account is configured in Thunderbird and your Gmail account must be the same as the one to which you imported the PST file data. Then, adhere to the instructions below.
- Select the Gmail account and right-click on it.
- Choose the New Folder option from the list of options.
- Assign a name to the new folder.
- Now drop the PST files that you imported into that folder.
Note: This step is entirely optional; if you want to save it for later use, create a special folder. Otherwise, you can use Thunderbird to view your Outlook PST data without creating a new folder.
